About iPod DJing
iPodDJing.co.uk is a DJing site dedicated to the art of DJing on an iPod. With the iPod being the most popular and successful MP3 player created, it was only a matter of time before DJing was a possibility on an iPod. Now we have the 1st generation iPod touch, and iPhone not to mention a total of 6 generations of the original iPod, 2 generations of iPod mini, 3 generations of iPod nano, and 2 generations of iPod shuffle.
The functionality of each generation and model of iPod has lead to rapid developments in DJing technology, with more and more DJ companies, developing DJ equipment and DJ software to be compatible with iPods. Broadly speaking we are in the second generation of iPod DJing equipment. And with developments like the Pacemaker, this looks to be a growth area in both iPod technology and DJing technology.
The aim of iPodDJing.co.uk is to help new DJs, and DJs who are looking to convert to a more portable and flexible DJing format with the iPod, whilst the basis of DJing is the same across any format, iPodDJing.co.uk aims to provide useful information about how to DJ with iPods specifically as well as provide information on DJing, DJ technology, iPods and iPod technology.
